The Seven Steps to Weed Management is manual for integrated weed management in British Columbia. It is published by the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Lands in partnership with the Open Learning Agency and is available as a downloadable PDF booklet.  It provides step-by-step guidance through the development of an integrated weed management plan.

  1. Map the management area and its resources.
  2. Map and inventory the management area for weeds.
  3. Set weed management goals and objectives.
  4. Set priorities for your weed management.
  5. Select weed management strategies.
  6. Develop an integrated weed management plan.
  7. Develop a monitoring program.
